Dearest Alistair

It was only last week when he was sitting in my living room, drinking tuak, and talking crap and laughing jovially with us for 3 hours straight. Yesterday, this dearest friend of ours met with an accident at Jalan Simpang Tiga. Well, according to him, a van knocked him from behind, he lost control and rammed a parked lorry at the side of the road. His condition was terrible i can say. Well, let the pictures speak for itself. I took the pictures from my lousy camera off the chinese local newspaper... hope it turns out viewable. =X

Well, you might be wondering how is he. He has a broken left arm which bones broke into three parts, his right leg is broken... he has lots of cuts and bruises... big cut on his head, and a bruised eye. Well, his mum called me up in the morning. Said he wanted to talk to me. Yea. And you know? This boy... he was still joking with me when i was talking on the phone with him this morning, even through all the pain. He is dead worried about his final exams... which i almost wanted to smack his head coz his life is more important than his exams, right? Well, told his dad to settle it with Swinburne. Hope Swinburne is understanding enough. My mum went to visit him in the afternoon to see his condition. Stupid thing he asked my mum was, 'When the doctor operate me, do they give me enough painkiller? Coz im so afraid of pain.' Aww, pity him. =( He said he wanted the newspaper cutting of his accident. Wanted to keep it as a remembrance. Eh guys, dont you just feel like slapping him sometimes? =) He still fools around even with his pain. Salute you dude. Oh one more thing, he just wanted me to let all his friends know that he is fine.

Hmm... I didnt manage to see him today coz i had no transport coz no one wanted to send me to the hospital. So i had to visit him in the evening when i usually go and visit my Ah Ma. So went there around 7 something but found his bed empty. So i knew he has gone to the operation theatre. I smsed his mum to ask.

Well anyway, got the reply from aunty. Alistair is now currently undergoing operation to join back his bones. The operation will continue till midnight. By then, lets all keep our heads in prayer for a smooth operation coz you know Alistair, he is afraid of pain and all.

And with that prayer in hand, i end my post for today.

ALISTAIR, WE WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT WE ALL LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!!! BE STRONG, DUDE!!!
