Of Over Happiness and Unluckiness

I celebrated my legality yesterday, 14th January with my friends at The Spring. My first time there, i was sort of being the epitome of sakainess... haha... i was like a little baby being left in the middle of the road... coz... it was fucking packed and fast-paced... i mean people were walking in all direction... regardless whether they are any shops at those corners... zzzz... what has Kuching people turned into??? Since when do we hoard places like sardines in a can? Sighs... nevermind... im an anchovy stucked in between. ^^

So okay, back to my big 18. I walked over to Spring with my buddies, Shawn, Siaw Yin, Chee Cheng and Chin Fong. The weather was freaking hot and yea, i did get sunburnt... haha... i can feel the skin peeling on my face... eww eww... reached Spring slightly before 12 coz we had extra hour class with Miss Kang. Buh... hate study info... gonna fail big time... =X

I enter Spring... i saw Starbucks and Secret Recipe greeting me. OO... the joy i felt was like i was in KL for the holidays... haha... nice one... saw a few high end shops which i think might burn out our pocket money. Zzzz... imagine la... one piece of clothe cost about 100 bucks... and thats just a spaghetti top... omg... thats a rip off... well... we went to survey the entire place before started shopping our hours away. In a matter of fact, im the one who was shopping and the rest just sort of accompany me and do the carrying and answering my questions. Lols... sorry yea guys!!! I know im quite a shopper these days but i still spend very little ok? Haha... im very pleased with my purchase. Anyways, its free coz daddy gave me money for shopping as a birthday present... so oh wells... ^^


I fell in love with this the moment i saw it... loves loves flowers... awwww


The so called Chinese New Year decoration on the ceiling, or so i think it is...


Beautiful colored plates... the beauty only to be destroyed by uncivilized people who think that those are their wishing wells where they can throw their coins in for luck... buh... moronic...


And for me, no shopping complex is complete without a toy/gift shop... ^^

After tired hours of shopping, we decided to eat lunch coz someone was sooo hungry till i need to halt my shopping spree for an hour or so. Lol.


Sushi King... we had our lunch here... coz i refused to let some people chia me to eat... haha... sorry yea, its not my moral principle to do so... =X dont feel insulted or what, ok?

Some chicken biri-biri thingy that Siaw Yin, Shawn and Chin Fong had... i swear i thought that was milk in a bowl... till i asked them... haha... coz mine was the slowest to come... =__= but the thing turned out to be very nice... haha... steam eggs... and seafood at the bottom...


And my fry set... uh... i really dont know what was so hard to cook this... haha... so in the end, i played around with my food before eating... you know la, savor the moment of lateness...

Guess what is this? I swear in the picture it looks like a lit candle on a table but it is in fact a light bulb hanging over me... nice aight?

So yea... after the expensive lunch... went back to shopping again... haha... tried on a few dresses... buh... and camwhore with them too... bleh... im an arse, i know i know...


Some short dress that made me look so fat... wait, I AM FAT... look at my humongous thighs... mwahahaha... =__='


A beige button down dress that was sold with a 50% discount... haha... cheap eh?


Tried on the grey one... looks so much better in it... haha... but i dont wanna spend my money on something that expensive... i have a budget of 50 bucks per piece of clothing... haha...


This dress made my bust looked so damn big... grrr... and it costs like 53 bucks... buhh...


But in the end, i ended up getting this dress... for 42 bucks... damn worth it can... haha... i look okay in it too... gonna wear it soon... hihihi...

Overall... i spent like 150 bucks on everything... excluding food la... but for 6 pieces of clothing... i guess its worth it lo... ^^


We had Starbucks Caramel Frappucino before we left... 3 cups for 3 person... haha... coz Chee Cheng and Chin Fong left earlier coz they wanna sort out their stuff... so yea... left the 3 of us... dammit la... Starbucks so expensive... 40 BUCKS FOR 3 DRINKS... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Hihi... i love the surprises... but talk about them later... that night... went to eat with family... suppose to go and eat at Magenta, but too bad it was close... then tried My Restaurant... closed too!!! In the end, ended up in Sahara... but it was okay, worth it... and still cheaper than other food eateries in that standard... hahaha...

Fish and chips... can say its the best in town so far... =D


Oxtail stew... you wouldnt know it was oxtail... haha... taste a lot like lamb shank... =__= but good though... ^^


There is always Chicken Corden Bleu... now there is PORK CORDEN BLEU... omg... i cant live without pork... ^^


Mix grill... erm... taste good... but not recommendable coz the portion was too little for comforts... haha...


Spaghetti Aglio Olio... ahahaha.... very nice one... ^^

I had a very enjoyable dinner at Sahara... with the nice ambience and soft music... i feel like sleeping ever so often... =D

So... i went home... and finally sort out the stuff i bought... hihihi... got gifts this year... something that i never expected... well, got 3 plushies!!! muahahaha... im shooooo happppiiiieee!!! And got some clothes with the money dad gave me... =D

Im a happy girl... oopsss... WOMAN!!! HAHA...

Thanks for all the wonderful memories you guys gave me on this huge huge occasion... although 18 is just another figure in my life, i did enjoy my first day of turning 18... soo many sweet memories to cherish... and also some bitter ones la... haha...


Firstly , i fell in Sushi King in the Spring and i cut my thighs... ouch it hurts man... damn... everyone saw me... zzzz... i have ugly fat thighs... haha... =_=

Haha... getting a cut on my birthday is alright i guess... not much of an embarassment... but guess what, i langgar somebody's behind today... needa pay 150 bucks for repair but my car wasnt even touched at all... coz... MY BESI KUAT!!! MWAHAHA... but choi choi... dont want to get into accidents anymore... already kena nuclear bomb from my parents just now... and a reminder, do not drive when your having a bad headache.

HAHA!!!

In Berberboo's mind: Im useless today... dont know why i cant do much at all... sigh... and someone got me blushing on my birthday... i was so red in the face till i got a fever... haha... oh come one, how could i resist such hot person? lol

Shopping!!!

Well, today... as promised by daddy, i get to shop for clothes coz my results were reasonably good for them... so its a treat. Hehe, im so happy. Well, daddy heard of this Green FOS shop somewhere in 7th Mile so we decided to give it a shot coz you can get branded goods there for a reasonably cheap price... and guess what... they arent fake... just pretty odd sizes... so yea. Gotta try my luck there.

Went to the place around 11 am like that and hell, the roads there were really windy and we almost got lost because the arrows shot here and there... and the parking lots were crap too. So narrow le. =.= But nevermind la, its daddy who drove so he got skills. =D

After an hour and a half of looking through and trying out goods, i settled myself with 2 jeans, a shorts and a dress. YES... A DRESS!!! =D And guess what, the jeans i bought... was Levis. Although June said it was still expensive (in MJC outlet), the ones in 7th Mile also cost about RM159 bucks like that... but there was one particular cutting where it had like so many % off. But frankly, only one size left. Sighs. I thought i wont be able to squeeze in, but then, give a try la. Tadah... I MANAGED TO!!! Yippies!!! Mummy wanted one pair too, she tried to squeeze in but couldnt. She wished it was 2 sizes bigger but oh well, cheap goods always no size one la. But then, speaking of that... i still wanna lose more weight coz i cant be content with my size now. 28" waist for a girl is pretty big le. Die. But hell i look good in my new jeans. And yes!!! I DONT NEED A BELT FOR THEM... haha...

And now to the dress... couldnt really make up my mind on which to buy. They were 2 colors.

And blue.

But then... i settled with the pink. Looks better i think. Or maybe im just obsessed with pink stuffs. But hey, my blog aint pink anymore... coz it was an eyesore... haha

But in the picture now, come to think of it... Blue actually looks better le... or maybe i simply snap when trying on the pink one just now. Sighs... Nevermind la... its pretty cheap anyways. =D

Wanted to get a Levis skirt... but when i turn the price tag over... its costs RM129 =__= So frigging expensive... its new arrival... tried it on... pretty nice le... above knees but not too short la. Haha. Then there was this Roxy skirt that cost RM48, tried it on... haha... i look like a fucktard... coz it flares up and it makes me look really really funny... i cant stop laughing. And and... there was any Levis skirt which is really really cute... RM78, ok la. But then... sad thing is... its size 25. Fuck. I think only June can masuk. It wont even move pass my thighs. Fuck.

Oh wells, what to do... but at least... im happy with my purchases lo. =D

I wanna go shopping for dresses again... Got addicted by Banana's taking-photos-in-the-changing-room habit already. Quite fun le. Haha.

In Berberboo's mind : Overall, i spent RM130 on all of the clothings. Quite worth it lo.

Shopping Spree!!!

In conjunction with the Mega Sales celebration, shopping sprees are not to be missed. Its a hell lot of fun, but pain when you see the bill afterwards. I was given 400 bucks to spend on my own shopping. But well, im in deep shit. Wanna know why? Tell you later. Let me show you what this icky teenager bought while she was in KL. Will tell you the price, brand etc etc incase some people wanna buy some too. ^^ Im nicesh...

Lets start with the clothes first. Shall we?

Strapless(tube) evening dress from Eclipse, KLCC. RM 161.90 after 40% discount. The material is so comfortable. Soft, flowing... feels like chiffon. ^^

Suit (chest piece) from Eclipse, KLCC. RM 159.90 after 40% discount. Modern cutting style makes it suitable as a jacket for normal wear.

Tank Top from HangTen, Sungei Wang Plaza. RM 15. I just love HangTen. =D

Beige slacks from HangTen, Sungei Wang Plaza. RM 54.50 after 50% discount. New arrival... So supposed to be RM119.00 but i had HangTen membership card, so all purchases made there is 50% off!!! YAY!!!

2 piece suit (Chest piece and skirt) from G2000, KLCC. RM 269.00 offer price for buying a set. =) *smiles* Wanna buy 3 piece suit... including the pants, but Dad said i look fat in it. =(

Black mini jacket... sweater... whatever you call it. From FOS, KL Plaza. RM 29.90. Eh... it looks damn good you know, not to say comfy. ^^ Can wear tubes and spaghetti tops inside and wear this outside. Good choice.

Pink Singlet Top from FOS, KL Plaza. RM 26.90. Looks cute right? Hehe.

Grey Half-Length shorts from FOS, KL Plaza. RM 29.90. Im wearing them now!!! Very nice material. Hen shu fu. =D

White long shirt from Levi's, Wangsa Maju. RM 44.90. The design on the back is so beautiful. xD How nice its the other way round. *sigh*

Tubes or spaghetti? From some stall in Wangsa Maju. RM10 a piece. Bought 3 colors, white, pink and black. ^^Free size some more. And lucky i can fit in it. Phew.

Black long shirt. Like mini dress like that. From PDI, KLCC. RM 24.50 after 50% discount. It looks like one shirt that i have at home from Hush Puppies. Comfy as well.

Bronze heels from Vincci, Sungei Wang Plaza. RM 53.91 after 10% discount. Finally i got a different color than the ones back home.

Pink heels from Vincci, Sungei Wang Plaza. RM 33.21 after 10% discount. Dont ask me why i chose pink, its just a reflex. Mwahahahah.

White heels from Vincci, Sungei Wang Plaza. RM 33.21 after 10% discount too. Looks like Ah Ma kind of shoes but its nice to wear. But i think i bought a size too big. =.=

Another white heels from Vincci, Sungei Wang Plaza. RM 33.21 again after 10% discount. I know i bought a lot of heels. Dont look at me with that kind of look, kay?

Handmade wire handphone strap with my name on it. RM 10 from Bukit Bintang Plaza. Cool huh? They twist twist the metal thingy to make it. Very laku among the Arabs. =.=

Teddy Tales pencil box from none other Teddy Tales, KLCC. RM 13.41 after 10% discount. Very cute lerr... but kinda small compared to my Body Glove's. Oh well.

Okay... so with the prices there... i guess you can do the maths and figure out how much i overspent from my budget money eh? Well, dont remind me if you did count. Im sad enough.

Lucky thing is... i only go shopping once a year. So... if you sum up what i bought and what other girls buy throughout a whole year, im still normal. ^^

YEA, IM NORMAL. =P

P.S ~ FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE... I DIDNT BUY ANY SOFT TOYS AKA PLUSHIES!!! ITS A MIRACLE!!!!!!!!!
