A PC fair was held in Permata Carpark from the 6th to 8th of April. Mum wanted to get an mp4 player to do some recording for her job-related study so we decided to go there for a little tour. On Saturday morning, or precisely slightly before noon, we went there. OMG, the throngs of people patronising the area was humungous. People from all walks of life could be seen in the area. From the little babies with no neck control in prams till the wrinkly old man sitting outside, this event was definitely a great crowd puller.
We went in with the crowd, pushing and
treading on people's toes on our way, we hurriedly searched for the booths selling mp3 and mp4 players. We spotted one quite near the entrance so we went to check it out. While dad was talking to the salesman on how to use a user friendly mp4 player for mum, my eyes were glued on the pink Samsung mp3 player right beside it. I forgot the model but it seriously looks like the one in the picture.
Daddy got an mp4 player for mummy. Then we decided to take a walk and look at all the great deals offered there. Gee, i saw a few friends there, for example Min Heng and Steven. They were working there. And then, i saw plenty of Swinburne students or can say my college mates working there too. Itching to ask, i texted Steven at night to ask him how much he earned a day during this fair so that i might consider working there too next year. He told me he earned $** a day. Keeping shush about it. LOL.

I saw my beloved-soon-to-be Nokia N95 being sold at a Digi Booth there. RM3100, i nearly wet my pants...oops, my shirts with tears. So expensive. Gotta wait for a few months for the price to drop or i have to kiss N95 goodbye and get a cheaper and more affordable phone. Maybe a N73. All i can do is hope. *sigh*
That night, the mp4 player malfunction. So we had to bring it back the next day, that is today to exchange for a new one. Thank God they managed to change for a new one, but too bad it is only 1 GB compared to the 2 GB that we bought as they were no more stock for it. So they just had to refund us back. And daddy bought another mp4 player, this time with camera so that he can cam whore in his office. SEE, now you know where my cam whoring genes came from. *giggles* Dad will kill me if he sees this. All i got during the fair are DVD's so that i can burn movies into them and also a 2 GB pendrive for college use. And also a poke from Steven. LOL.
Sorry i couldnt get pictures of the fair. I am not Kenny Sia or some other famous bloggers who carries a camera around with them. And my lousy handphone cannot take pictures with all those crowds bustling in.
And by the way, to those who were responsible for cutting the roof of the area and cost RM30k worth of damage, you will never be blessed with RM30k in your entire life. So there.
Looking forward to the next PC Fair in Kuching.
Speaking of Easter, went for the 6.30 am mass at St Joseph's Cathedral and met Maynard's brother. Couldnt tell whether its Rick or Ralph. But anyways, he told me that Maynard is leaving for KL tonight. By now, he must have left already. He is going to study Culinary Arts in Taylor's for 2 long years. Hope i can see him someday in his journey to be the Iron Chef of Malaysia. All the best to you Maynard, God Bless and remember, dont go looking for hot chicks there, coz they will suck your blood when you're famous. LOL. *Hugs and kisses*. Enjoy your studies.
In Berberboo's mind : Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Without you by my side, i definitely feel the need of your presence. Message is to a certain someone and also to the snobish N95.
