Holiday mood

Been given a week of holidays due to relocation of thingy-thingy from Swinburne's old building to the new buildings. So... holidays suck as usual, coz damn bored with nothing to do at home lor... sien... good thing is that we have Sustainable Design essay to write, and also lots of tutorials for EM2 to do thanks to Ms Betsy. LOL. Anyways, gonna finish them in a jiffy. But still damn bored lor... so i experiment a few recipes. ^^ Oh wells... picture talk coz i wanna do my homework soon.

Last week, i baked a lemon cotton cheesecake... which turn out... GREAT!!! My dad loves it, my friends... well, they sorta like it... especially my loyal Taster (Dom), and a few others said it was ok... but as usual, a tad too sweet. Although i did cut down on the sugar, maybe different people have different threshold of sweet tooth? LOL. Oh wells... lemme show you the cheesecake.


Tadah!!! Lemon Cotton Cheesecake. Substituted lemon with lime... so TOOOO fruity lor... but ok la... not bad for first timers... ^^

Then on Monday, i went out to Parkson to get some baking stuff. Too bad dont have lor. So i decided to see whether the RUSS panda they had on the shelf was still there... TO MY HORROR, IT WAS STILL THERE!!! so i bought it. =.= horror as in horror to my wallet lor... pity it. It is getting empty sooner than i think it would be. Sighs.


Welcome Tori into the family!!! Wheee... im so happy. SO CUTE CAN!!! ESPECIALLY THE BUTT!!! Will post the butt picture one day. Gee, I wanted a red panda plushie, but i couldnt find one lar. But RUSS has a raccoon plushie on sale. RM52.90 before discount. Should i? =(

Then yesterday, i decided to be crazy a little bit. I MADE BEER JELLY!!! WHOOOPEDOOO...


Beer jelly. Extremely alcoholic. Good for those who loves the alcohol. ^^ Add a little Irish Cream to it. Or was it Scottish cream? Dont remember but its some sort of alcohol creamy thing that is damn strong. SHYT... i got dizzy when i ate the jelly. But then, the aftertaste is like caramel sweetness... so cool... ~~~

And then, there is today... i got so stress last night lor... for an apparent reason which i would not like to discuss here at all. Will do if the time is right. Oh wells. So woke up at 8.30am this morning to do some baking. Baked coffee cake and coffee cupcake... which pretty much uses the same recipe, so damn easy to do lar... ^^


Coffee cake with cream cheese topping... hehe... gave a quarter to Mumzy and the other quarter to Baby.


Coffee cupcake with chocolate rice topping. ^^ Gave 2 to Mumzy and Baby. Those in the pics are what there is left. Teeheehee... see what magical wonders a recipe can do. =D And so far, Mumzy and Bii said it was good. So... at least im less stress now lor... ^^

Then i went to Spring to catch up with a National Service friend, whom is out for the Hungry Ghost holidays. 5 DAYS MAN!!! WOOT... im happy to see her la... =D Went to makan at Sushi King. Got that Unagi offer thingy. DAMN CHEAP LA WEI. We ate for 2 person, about 12 plates of REAL GOOD SUSHI and the bill came to 48 bucks only. OMG... HAPPY TILL CAN DIE. But i forgot to take photo of the food la (coz i am an irresponsible blogger, LOL) coz i was very pai seh to take photo of food when im with her. LOL. So we ate and ate and talked a whole damn lot. Wahhh... so many things i missed out at camp. Damn i so wish i was there longer. Damn that fucking dormitory. Zzzzz... so anyways, here is our pic. ^^
