Beef Noodles

Im a huge fan of beef noodles... and beef kueh tiaw... people used to say that Open-Air beef noodle is the best but since im not allowed out at night, i cant join in the gastronomic fun and devour that precious bowl of Open-Air's beef noodle. Thats why i looked for alternative spots to eat beef noodles, which are open during the day too. I used to like Lam's Place beef noodles, but then, i got really sick of the sweet broth they used. It is an acquire taste and not really to my liking anyways. But then, that was before i tried another place. And that place is Madam Tang's. This eatery is located at Jalan Petanak, and also USED TO BE at Tabuan Laru roundabout but i dont know why that branch closed down. I really loved Madam Tang's beef noodle because it was the best beef noodles i have ever tasted. The taste is sooooooo gooooooodddddddd... and the meat they gave was a lot, and with special, you get lots of tendon and such. Even though quite pricey at RM4.80 per bowl of regular and RM6.80 per bowl for a special one, its worth every bit of money spent. Dont believe me?

Now, doesnt this bowl of beef kueh tiaw makes your mouth drool? Look at the enormous amount of topping given. Arrrrghhh... i wanna get some now... why oh why did the branch near my house got shut down? WHY? Now i have to go all the way to Petanak. That sucks with the petrol price. =_=

And then, i read from somewhere that the beef noodles in The Spring was pretty good. So since im a regular there, i gave it a shot. And when i tried it... i deduce that the one at Spring is good enough to whet my obsession with beef noodles. It tastes pretty good too. The taste is mild but then, it is tasty enough to keep me going back there for more.


It costs RM5.50 per bowl of regular ones and RM7.00 for a special one. Even though more expensive than Madam Tang's, the taste is okay... and the ambiance is so much better ^^Next week baby, im coming back for more.... wheeeeeeeeee

Another place where you can get good beef noodles during the day is at KTS. Located somewhere near Sarawak Plaza, their beef noodles is very very special. Why? Coz their gravy is sour and a little bit spicy. Really tingles the tastebuds. Too bad i havent got a photo of it but i will soon when i go there again... =D

So everyone, with good beef noodles around town... lets just tuck in, shall we? ^^
