EEEEE... what rotten luck!!!

Oh gee... i dont know what should i call this? KARMA? I dont believe in karma, but then, karma said... when you do good, good things happen to you, when you do bad, bad things come running after you. I guess this is so true. A few days ago, i was in a heated situation with my mum, and i was so pissed i havent spoken a proper sentence to her ever since. Then, i dunno whether it is a series of bad luck or whatever crap... not only i couldnt get my phone that day, a few days later... i found out i was chosen for PLKN. DAMMMNNNN... I dont wanna go!!! I dont wanna go!!! =.= Sien laaaa... whoever has the intention of liking PLKN without hearing any encouragements from friends are liars. Bullshitters. OMG... HOW CAN YOU LIKE THE PROGRAMME??? Let me ask you... in a war, do you make cakes? Do you do community services? Do you 'kawad' into the battlefield? Do you hold a M-16 once and fire, then the rest of the war, you run around flailing your arms and raise your voices? I guess everyone rather walk straight up to the enemy and said, 'I will do whatever it takes to survive, even if its betraying my country.' Who wouldnt want a few more mins or survival? Although i know that the enemy will fire you flat before you finish talking, but at least you spare some time for you to look at the surroundings before you pass over to the next world. If you think this programme is some sort of stuff to encourage patriotisme into us, lets just plug a lie-detector, or even ask JJ and Rudy from Hitz.Fm to ask those so called 'fighters' in PLKN whether they really learnt something during that process. Tell you what, figures of people talking about they learnt to be more patriotic, may be nil. The rest is just fun and excitement, know more friends and yada yada. Oh wells, i cant talk much. Just gonna wait and see what happens if they dare send me a farking letter. Oh yea... was supposed to get my phone today, but then... my ATM card was like... blur. I forgot to change my pin number. Hehehe. Idiots. And then, i found out that my account is still short of some money due to some scholarship crap, so i cant get my phone today. Oh wells, maybe thats the 'karma' of shouting at my mum yesterday. YES... I DID SHOUT AT HER!!! =.=

Well, if i cant get my phone, and my bad luck or so called KARMA is happening... then in December...

PLKN, HERE I COME!!! =(

In Berberboo's mind : I hate all this things. =.=

Hi Amber. Shaun here. Discovered your blog through June's.

PLKN huh? Are you like a PTS jumper? Because I find it weird that you'd get selected so late this year.

You could skip PLKN with an excuse that you're furthering your studies, like what June and the rest did(or so I've heard); or you could (stupidly) tough it out and do the 'right' thing and join it (like me).

Yeah, I've been there; January '07 intake, Betong Camp. That's why I only joined SUTS' March intake. I have bittersweet memories of that hell I've been through; mostly bitter than sweet.

If you do go, you'll discover the intense racial segregation present in the camp, and also the blatant racial polarization. Yes, it sucks like hell, and I don't ever want to go back, no matter how many times they'd let me shoot that M-16 rifle. Sure, that was awesome and everything, but 90+ days to shoot 40 bullets isn't worth it. Oh, the RM300 is tempting too, but now I figured I could've just worked part time for more.

Well, that's my two cents. I've got more bad crap about PLKN, but you don't need any more discouragement to join it =)
