Mother's Day.

Im not a sourgrape, nor a hypocrite, nor a backstabber but there is certainly one thing i cannot stand, its pretends. Mother's Day, i dunno when did it start existing. You may say, 'Omg, you bitch, you dont appreciate your mum!'. I do appreciate her a lot. But im no hypocrite. Mother's Day has been commercialised for the better of the world's economy. Its a day to waste your money, spend all your hard earn cash, enjoy, eat out, merry making. And the next day you see all the stocks increase. Thats what Mother's Day is about.

On this special day, people will bring their mothers out for dinner, buy them gifts such as shining and expensive jewelries, creamy chocolates, fresh flowers, gift boxes, a nice sumptious cake or maybe just a simple card to show their affection and gratitude towards their mothers. But, does this sign of affection last forever? Hell no. Certain people just 'like' their moms on this special occasion but on other days, they treat their mums like shits. 'Hey mum, where the fuck did you put my shoes?' thats on a normal day. Today it would be, 'Dear mummy, do you happen to know where did you place my shoes? I need them so that i will look good for you today, mummy.' Such bullshitters, hypocrites, liars!!! If you say to your mum 'Fuck, fuck, fuck' everyday, dont try to treat her well on this special day without saying it because she knows best that you are just a filthy liar. You can never lie to your mum.

If you wanna love your mum, love her with all your heart. Love her everyday. Treat her well everyday and not only on Mother's Day. If you want to buy her gifts, its not only on Mother's Day. Other days will make the gifts more special. This can be said the same for Valentine's Day. Okay, for example you visit a new shop and saw a nice bag, buy it for her if you know she likes it. Dont wait till its Mother's Day. Do you have to buy things for your mum once a year only? Fuck you nincompoops. You see a nice cheesecake displaying in Secret Recipe, buy it for her since she loves cakes. Are you gonna wait till its Mother's Day so that you can buy it for her and show, 'Nah, i bought you a lovely cake!' which costs more expensive than normal days. Are you just trying to show off? Dont, coz it will hurt your mum more.

A nice and delicious looking cake. Tell me how much does it cost? Expensive eh?

A diamond heart necklace. Beautiful? Yes, and your mum sure loves it. But make sure you're sincere and not trying to prove how rich you are.

A simple mother's day card. Beautiful and easy. But cant you just express it by mouth?

A big box of assorted chocolates. No wonder you need a big one. Its to last till the next Mother's Day coz you know your mum is too old to consume so much chocolate. Wishful thinking eh?

A cute gift basket!!! But is your sincerity cute enough for your mum?

Well, you shouldnt shower your mum with pressies and such but show how you really feel about her. In the morning when she wakes up, greet her. Give her a big hug. Put on your best smile. Dont quarrel with her over trivial matters. Respect her as she deserves all the respect you can give. Love your mum as she has loved you.

Kiss her like there is no tomorrow. I mean mother-daughter kiss and not lesbos.

See, thats sweet right? Bring that innocence of a sweet young child back into your life and love your mother no matter what she has done to you. There is no place better than the place beside your mother.
